Alycia Martin
Stage/Event Management . Lighting Assistant
ABOUT ME
Alycia Martin (she/her) hails from Kansas City, Kansas, and in May of 2021, will be graduating from the Conservatory of Fine Arts at Webster University with her BFA in Stage Management. Throughout her college career, Alycia has been fortunate to be able to work with a variety of professional performance companies, and a diverse collection of performance media. From semi-immersive productions like The Realistic Joneses with St. Louis local company Rebel and Misfits Productions, to grandiose operas like Il Barbiere de Siviglia, presented at the spacious, 7,000 seat Filene Center in Wolf Trap National Park, Alycia has curated her stage management experience to cultivate her seemingly insatiable curiosity and passion for live storytelling.
When she does hang up the headset for the day, Alycia is an avid reader, with a particular fondness for contemporary poetry, late British literature, and High Fantasy. Having a strong background as a classically trained instrumentalist, she also likes to maintain her musical sensibilities by practicing a wide range of string and wind instruments.
